On September 26th, the fourth season of the anime series "Pokemon: Horizons" will be available for streaming on Netflix. This was announced by Netflix on Wednesday.
The first episode of the series was released on Netflix on February 7th. The second half became available for viewing on April 25th. On June 27th, the third section was made public.
The release schedule for the Pokemon anime series on Netflix in the U.S. was initially set for February 2024, but it actually started airing in March of that same year. The second part followed in May, with the third part premiering in August. Finally, the fourth part began streaming last November.
In Japan, the anime was launched in April 2023 with a special first episode of one hour. It airs on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. JST. In October 2023, it began its second arc titled "Terapagos no Kagayaki" (The Brilliance of Terapagos) with its 29th episode. "Terastal Debut" arc was introduced in April 2024 as the third arc. Last October, it started its fourth arc. This new arc includes characters from Kitakami, which was featured in "The Teal Mask" expansion for Pokémon Scarlet/Violet game.
In this anime, there are two new main characters, Liko and Roy. It includes characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Rayquaza in its Shiny form. Additionally, there are two new characters introduced in this anime - Friede, a Pokémon professor, and Captain Pikachu, a Pokémon partner duo that battles alongside Liko and Roy.
The anime "Mirage Queen Prefers Circus" is being directed by Saori Den, who has previously worked on "Mirage Queen Prefers Circus". Daiki Tomiyasu, who has experience with "Pokémon Sun & Moon" and "Pocket Monster Mezase Pokémon Master", is serving as creative director. Dai Satō, who has worked on "Eureka Seven", "Wolf's Rain", "Samurai Champloo", and "Cowboy Bebop", is overseeing the series scripts. Tetsuo Yajima is in charge of action direction, Rei Yamazaki is designing characters, and Kyōko Itō is designing sub-characters. Masafumi Mima is handling sound direction, while Conisch is composing the music for "Mirage Queen Prefers Circus".
