Toshioyuki Someya, Eito Konishi star in both TV series, stage play
The manga series "Fujōri Zakkaten Unreal" by Kei Yodaka and Shuu Katayama has inspired both a live-action television series and a stage play adaptation. The TV show, titled "Unreal -Fujōri Zakkaten-," will air on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and BS TV Tokyo on October 13th and 16th respectively. Meanwhile, the stage play will make its debut in January.
In the TV show and stage play, Toshiyuki Someya portrays Yagio while Eito Konishi assumes the role of Muneya Hamaie. Although they will both appear in both productions, the stage play will feature narratives that won't be included in the TV series, and it will take place after its storyline has ended.
The story revolves around a unique store that specializes in selling individuals' thoughts. Customers who visit experience significant transformations due to its peculiar items. Yagio, the store owner, views these occurrences with indifference. Muneya Hamaie, a high school student employed at a nearby café, takes care of Yagio's well-being.
Hajime Hashimoto is directing the television series, with scripts by Natsume Karasumaru.
