Hayami performs "Last breath, Last record" ending for December anime




At Anime NYC on Thursday, Netflix released an English-subtitled trailer for III , which is the third season of the anime that is based on Shinya Umemura , Azychika , and Takumi Fukui 's Record of Ragnarok ( Shūmatsu no Walküre ) manga. In the trailer, you can hear the anime's ending theme song titled "Last breath, Last record" by Saori Hayami .

Hayami wrote the lyrics herself, which reflects the anime's worldview.

The anime will debut on Netflix in December 2025.

Previously announced new cast members include:

- Makoto Furukawa as Nikola Tesla
- Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub
- Hiroshi Shirokuma as King Leonidas
- Kenichi Suzumura as Apollo


The upcoming anime series will have a fresh creative team. Koichi Hatsumi from Tokyo Revengers and Christmas Showdown is directing at Yumeta Company in collaboration with Maru Animation, who previously worked together on the previous season. Yasuyuki Mutō from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway and Tokyo Revengers is writing the story. Yoko Tanabe from Handyman Saitō in Another World and Hisashi Kawashima from Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream are designing the characters for this new series. Yasuharu Takanashi is returning to compose the music for this project.

The second season of Record of Ragnarok II was released on Netflix in two parts. The first part premiered in January 2023, while the second part (consisting of episodes 11-15) was released in July 2023. Meanwhile, the first season of the anime made its debut on Netflix in June 2021.

In March 2022, Mangamo first announced its license for Record of Ragnarok. Now, Viz Media is making both digital and printed versions of the series available in English.

In November 2017, the manga was introduced in Comic Zenon magazine. Umemura wrote the story while Azychika created the artwork. Fukui was responsible for storyboarding the work.

There are various manga adaptations of Record of Ragnarok Mystery - The Case Files of Jack the Ripper, which was released in June 2024. Additionally, there are other manga series such as Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden (The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General) and Shūmatsu no Walküre Kinden: Kamigami no Apocalypse (Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Tale: Apocalypse of the Gods), which also have their own unique storylines and characters.

On March 31st, a mobile game called "Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment" was released as a type of role-playing game that involves battles on your phone.
