HIDIVE Adds Queen Millennia Anime on September 2
All 42 episodes stream subbed for anime based on Leiji Matsumoto's manga
On September 2nd, HIDIVE revealed that they would be adding all 42 episodes of the anime adaptation of Leiji Matsumoto's Queen Millennia manga. The series will be available in Japanese with English subtitles for streaming.
On the same day, Sentai Filmworks will release a complete set of all 42 episodes of the anime in Blu-ray format.

In 1981-1982, Toei Doga (now Toei Animation) created a TV anime series called Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years. Later in 1982, a movie version of this series was released as Queen Millennia Movie anime film. Afterward, Harmony Gold combined footage from both the anime and Captain Harlock, releasing it as Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years series.
From 1980 to 1983, Matsumoto published Queen Millennia in both the Sankei Shimbun and Nishinippon Sports newspapers as a serialization.
