Kamudo manga creator Akira Himekawa listed as attending convention
On August 14th, GKIDS declared that they would showcase the U.S. debut of Warner Bros. Japan and STUDIO4°C's adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka and Yoshitoshi ABe's All You Need Is Kill light novel at New York Comic Con in October. Although the screening is advertised as the North American premiere, GKIDS has confirmed with ANN that it is actually the American premiere.
Furthermore, according to Shogakukan 's website, Kamudo ( Kaze no Kamudo ) manga by Akira Himekawa will be featured in its first compiled volume, which is set to release. New York Comic Con will take place from October 9 through October 12 at the Javits Center.
In June, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France showcased All You Need Is Kill. Following that, the film had its North American debut at this year's Fantasia International Film Festival, which took place from July 16th through August 3rd in Montreal.
The company has obtained the rights to show the anime movie in several regions such as North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. They will present it in cinemas.
