In Japan on March 20th, 2026, the film "Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu" will be released. This movie contains narratives that were not included in the anime series.
On Monday, it was announced in the 41st edition of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that Yūsei Matsui's Assassination Classroom manga is receiving an anime film called Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Minna no Jikan ( Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time) as part of the anime adaptation's 10th anniversary celebration. The film will be released in Japan on March 20, 2026.
According to the magazine, a special promotional video is scheduled for release on Monday. Once the visual and video are made available, ANN will update this article accordingly.
The movie features all the missing episodes from the anime because of time limitations. According to Matsui, the film isn't just celebrating its 10th anniversary but also continues the main storyline.
From 2012 to 2016, Matsui's Assassination Classroom was published as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. This led to a television anime series with 22 episodes that aired in 2015, followed by a second season with 25 episodes that aired in 2016. In November 2016, an anime film was released in Japan.
Since its launch in August 2020, Toonami has been broadcasting the initial season of the anime, with the second season commencing in 2022.
Two live-action movies based on Assassination Classroom were released in Japan in March 2015 and March 2016, respectively.
