Manga Up! Global Adds Why She Loves Scum Manga
Rui Ikeda's manga launched in March 2024
On Tuesday, Why She Loves Scum ( Kanojo ga Kuzu o Aisuru Wake wa ) manga by Rui Ikeda was made available in English through Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service.
Manga UP! describes its story:
Hiro is broke, jobless, and unfaithful—and Mi is absolutely smitten with him! After all, he didn't dump her within a week, doesn't stand her up on dates, and even remembers her name. With the bar on the floor, Hiro can't bring himself to be full-on scum like he usually is, much to his own confusion. A romcom about a guy who flip-flops between being sweet and scummy, and the girlfriend who adores him anyway!
In March 2024, Ikeda started publishing his manga on X (originally known as Twitter). Following that, it was serialized on Gangan pixiv starting from November 2024. Square Enix released their second compiled volume of the manga on May 22.
The manga ranked at #6 in the Web Manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2024.
