New teaser visual also revealed
On Tuesday, the official site for the anime adaptation of Shuuichi Shigeno's MF Ghost manga released the second teaser visual for season three and announced its January 2026 premiere date. This information was initially disclosed at the "Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days" event held at Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka on Saturday.
In Japan during the 2020s, self-driving cars are commonplace. The manga follows Kanata Livington, who has just graduated from a racing school in England at the top of his class, as he returns home. Additionally, the manga highlights the MFG, a renowned racing circuit on public roads that has gained international recognition.
In Japan, the first season of this anime was introduced in October 2023 through Tokyo MX, BS11, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, Animax, TV Aichi, Shizuoka Broadcasting System, TV Setouchi, Tochigi TV, YTV, and Crunchyroll as it was being shown live.
In October 2024, the second season of "Your Lie in April" premiered on several Japanese television channels including Tokyo MX, BS11, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting. Additionally, it was broadcasted on YTV, TV Aichi, and Animax. This season is also available for streaming on Lemino and Prime Video in Japan. Crunchyroll simulcasted the anime as it was released and is currently streaming an English dub version of it as well.
In September 2017, Shuuichi Shigeno started publishing the MF Ghost manga in Kodansha 's Young Magazine. Kodansha USA Publishing released the manga in English in English. Due to poor health, the manga went on hiatus in November 2022 but returned in February 2023. It went back on hiatus in April before returning in June for its "final battle." Finally, the manga ended on February 17 with its 23rd compiled book volume shipping in Japan on June 6.
