Character Pass DLC includes Doma, Kaigaku, Infinity Castle versions of characters
The website for the sequel game of : - The Hinokami Chronicles from 2021 has started streaming a character trailer on Tuesday. On Thursday, there will be a free update that includes Muzan Kibutsuji in VS Mode. Additionally, the characters for Infinity Castle Part 1 Character Pass DLC have been revealed on the website.
In
: Infinity Castle - Part 1: Akaza Returns, players can purchase a Character Pass DLC that enables them to utilize characters from the film in VS. Mode. These include Doma, Kaigaku, as well as Infinity Castle versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Shinobu, and Akaza.
On August 1st, the game was released in Japan while its English version became available five days later on August 5th. This version is accessible on various platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One,
Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Deluxe Edition owners can enjoy early access to the game by playing it up to five days before its official release date.
The deluxe version of the game comes with two character keys that allow you to play as Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui from the Kimetsu Academy. Additionally, you will receive four character keys for Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima. Furthermore, this version includes VS. Mode system voices and costumes.
The Japanese version of the game comes with a unique package that contains both physical and digital content. This package is exclusive for pre-orders and includes illustrations from
ufotable. Additionally, there will be deluxe digital versions available for purchase separately.
In the new game, the story mode follows on from the previous one, incorporating the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. Over forty characters are playable in VS Mode, including Muichirō Tokitō and Mitsuri Kanroji, who are also pre-order bonuses. All characters from the first game are included in the base roster, along with any additional demons added in free post-launch updates and characters originally part of the Entertainment District Arc in the first game's paid DLC. Additionally, the nine Hashira are available as playable characters in the new game.

In October 2021, the Japanese version of "The First
: - The Hinokami Chronicles" was released in Japan and later in English in Asia. Following that, it was launched in North America and Europe for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 2021. Additionally, the Switch version was released in Japan in June 2022 and also in English in June 2022.
