Fuku Suzuki, Leo Matsumoto, Nichika Akutsu, Ayaka Shinya, Sana Ogino, more join cast
On Tuesday, ABC TV unveiled the ensemble of actors who will star in Power Pro Drama 2025 -The Story of How I, an Ordinary New Working Adult, Found Success- which is a live-action adaptation of Konami 's Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū (Powerful Pro Baseball) video game series.

On September 27th, at midnight, the show will start airing on ABC TV. Kohei Tsuji is in charge of writing its script.
The drama's story centers on protagonist Junpei Nishino, a first-year working adult who loves the Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū game. He devoted himself to baseball in high school, but a failure in an important game left him traumatized. He has since then experienced a series of defeats in life, and his extremely ordinary life continues. As he starts his first day at work, he discovers the mysterious game "Powerful Working Adult." Through the mysterious game, Junpei and his colleagues' abilities are revealed.
Since its launch in Japan in 1994, Konami's Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū game series has been available on multiple platforms and consoles such as Sega Saturn, PlayStation, PlayStation 2/3/4, PlayStation Portable and Vita, Wii, and Nintendo Switch.
In 2014, Konami released their mobile game called Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū which gained immense popularity with over 44 million downloads by 2021. This game led to the creation of a web anime series that premiered in 2021 with four episodes, each lasting ten minutes.
