Both novels launch digitally in English on October 30
On Saturday, Hanashi Media announced that they have obtained the rights for digital publication of two light novels, "The New Gate" by Shinogi Kazanami and "Re:Monster" by Kogitsune Kanekiru. These titles will be made available for purchase online on October 30th.

Title: The New Gate : Where It Ends, It Begins
Author(s): Shinogi Kazanami (story), Makai no Jūmin (volumes 1-9 illustrator)
Synopsis: In the deepest level of the dungeon known as the Gate of the Otherworld, Shin was locked in battle. His opponent: the final boss of THE NEW GATE , a VRMMO that had transformed into a deadly death game.
Following a tough battle, Shin won and released the prisoners from their digital captivity. However, as he felt relief, a door appeared in the dungeon's center that opened suddenly, causing him to lose consciousness.
As soon as he woke up, he saw the reality of THE NEW GATE, not just the virtual version in a game.
In 2013, Kazanami started sharing the initial narrative on the website "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists). AlphaPolis released the tale in print volumes in December of that same year, featuring illustrations by Makai no Jūmin. In August of 2016, Kazanami decided to remove the series from its website. Yoshiyuki Miwa launched a manga adaptation in November 2014 on AlphaPolis ' web manga site ( link ) . One Peace Books is releasing the manga digitally and physically.
In April 2024, an anime was adapted from the novels. It was streamed on Crunchyroll as it was being broadcasted. Additionally, CTW announced that there would be a browser game version of the anime called THE NEW GATE Best Collection on their G123 service in April 2024.

Title: Re:Monster

Summary: After being attacked by a stalker and nearly dying, Gobrou was revived as a goblin with little strength. Kanekiru initially posted the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. AlphaPolis published ( link ) In 2012, AlphaPolis began publishing Haruyoshi Kobayakawa 's manga adaptation as its monthly serial on its website. They released the ninth volume of this adaptation in 2017. Seven Seas also publishes this manga adaptation. In October 2024, AlphaPolis released the 12th compiled book volume of this ongoing series.
In April 2024, the anime version of the novels was released. Crunchyroll broadcasted it as it was being shown in Japan, as well as providing an English dub on the same day.
The show led to a mobile game with the same title, in which users assume the identity of a goblin. This app became available for download on both Android and iOS devices in February 2016.
