On Thursday, Capcom released a video showcasing Monster Hunter Outlanders, a new game in their Monster Hunter franchise. They announced a closed beta test that will take place after mid-November and recruitment is open until November 7th. The video also includes footage of the Adventurer character and battle gameplay.

An open-world survival game with features from the Monster Hunter series and multiplayer functionality allows players to switch between characters.
The music for the game "Call of Duty" is being composed by Tadayoshi Makino, who has previously worked on the franchise as a composer for TiMi Studio Group, which is owned by Tencent.
In November 2022, TiMi Studio Group revealed that they were developing a new mobile game based on Monster Hunter. They are well-known for creating Call of Duty Mobile and Pokémon Unite, which was launched for smartphones in September 2021.
In September 2023, both Capcom and Niantic launched Monster Hunter Now, which is an AR smartphone game in the franchise for iOS and Android devices.
On February 28th, the global release of Monster Hunter Worlds took place simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In its first three days, it sold over 8 million copies worldwide, making it the fastest-selling title in Capcom's history. As of March, it has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
On March 13th, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will be available for purchase on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC through Steam.
