Nintendo Switch,
Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions of the game have been pushed back from their original release date of August 21st to November 14th. According to the company, voice recording and multilingual translation were the main reasons behind this delay. However, they also mentioned that they planned to make other quality improvements during this time. Initially, the game was set to come out in June. Unfortunately, it will no longer be available on iOS or Android devices.
In Japanese, there are more than 50,000 spoken lines by over 250 voice actors. However, there will be fewer spoken lines in English version. Plans for improvement include slowing down the game speed for easier play, adjusting UI display, and making changes to playing defense overall.
In Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, there is a new mode called Commander Mode which allows players who don't like action games to give strategic commands to their team instead of playing manually. Additionally, there is an Abilearn Board that lets players modify characters' traits and abilities, and Bond Link which allows players to establish relationships with characters in Bond Town. Bond Town also lets players create their own avatar to live in the game world. Lastly, Chronicle Mode recreates matches from throughout the series.
The story stars Unmei Sasanami, a young boy who yearns for a world without soccer, and follows his eventual meeting with Haru Endo, a soccer expert. The game features over 4,500 characters from the series.
The original release date for
Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin was set for summer 2018 on PS4, Switch, iOS, and Android platforms. However, the title of the game has since been changed multiple times, first to Eiyū-tachi no Great Road, then to Victory Road. Due to these delays, the release date has been pushed back.
The upcoming release in 2026 for Switch, PS5, PS4, PC via Steam is a new version of the original Inazuma Eleven game called Inazuma Eleven RE.
