In July 2025, a television anime adaptation of Teren Mikami's yuri romance novel collection will be released.
On Friday, REMOW released a video promoting the upcoming TV anime version of Teren Mikami's There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless... ( Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wake Naijan, Muri Muri! Muri Janakatta! or WATANARE ) yuri romantic comedy novel series. In addition, they announced that Kana Ichinose will portray Satsuki Koto and Takako Tanaka will voice Kaho Koyanagi in the anime.
An English-subtitled version is available for viewing in both Canada and the United States.

Mitsuko Sekimoto serves as the color key artist for this project. Meanwhile, Yuri Takagi and Keito Watanabe are directing the art. Takuma Morooka has been appointed as the compositing director of photography, while Ichiro Chaen has been tasked with editing. Lastly, Takayuki Yamaguchi has been assigned as the sound director for this project.
The company Seven Seas has announced that they will be publishing both the novel and manga adaptations of their story in English.

In February 2020, the first volume of the light novel series "Mikami" by author If You Could See Love was released by Shueisha under their Dash X Bunko label, featuring illustrations by Eku Takushima. Meanwhile, Musshu also launched its own series around this time.
