The narrative revolves around Mitsuha, a young woman living in Itomori, who feels discontented with her life. Her loved ones become concerned when she exhibits unusual behavior. Unbeknownst to them, Taki Tachibana, a high school student from Tokyo, has unknowingly swapped places with Mitsuha while sleeping. As he struggles to adapt to his new surroundings and role as a girl, the story unfolds through the perspectives of Mitsuhas friends and family as they navigate her changes and prevent potential mishaps. This is based on the popular novel Kimi no Na wa.
