On June 7th, Sahara Makaji is killed in a tragic accident when he steps into the path of an oncoming truck at a busy street crossing. His classmates mourn his loss, unaware that as a ghost, he remains among them. Along with him is the spirit of a young girl who also died at the same intersection 10 years ago. Sahara is fascinated by the reactions of his classmates, particularly Renjou, who cries the most. Chiaki Aikawa, Saharas childhood friend and one who was standing beside him when he died, remains expressionless while Taku Saitou prays that Saharas spirit does not curse him for teasing him frequently. Sahara wants to leave behind a few words: his death was no accident, and he will ensure that only he and the young girl fall victim to the culprit responsible.
