After the end of the Unification Wars, the Kingdom of Neosphere experienced a period of decline. Despite being known as the "Holy Kingdom," they no longer had enough resources or personnel to maintain their own E-technology. The number of E-Ships connecting their commerce with landbound countries decreased. In response, the new Queen of Neosphere sent out a summons to Prospero Flanka, the father of E-technology. However, he was unable to respond, so he sent his granddaughter, Nanoka, who grew up surrounded by her grandfather's inventions and golems and proved capable of helping rebuild Neosphere.
