Marika katou is a third year student at hakuou girls academy and also serves as a legitimate space pirate with a letter of marque. she has many responsibilities, including leading her school's space yacht club, working part-time at cafe lamp, and being the captain of the bentenmaru ship. one day, while busy with her daily routine, marika gets hired to rob a high-class passenger ship. during this mission, she discovers that kanata mugen, the owner of a "galaxy pass," is on board. this leads to an exciting adventure involving a hyperspace race between pirates and one young boy.
