Maison Ikkoku is a boarding house that houses an unusual collection of eccentric individuals, including the young student Yuusaku and the alluring yet widowed manager, Kyouko. The narrative focuses on Yuusaku's attempts to win Kyouko's heart, while being hindered by the actions of the other tenants.

Maison Ikkoku was published in English by VIZ Media from October 24, 2003 to February 14, 2006. It was published in Spanish by Glénat España from May 2004 to January 2013.
