応天の門

During the Heian period in Japan, the Fujiwara family was attempting to seize control at court when two maids disappeared from the capital. The emperor believed it was a demon's doing and ordered Ariwara no Narihira, an aristocrat from Kyoto, to collaborate with Sugawara no Michizane, a young student who lived in isolation. Despite their differences in age, social standing, and birth, they worked together to solve the mysteries of Kyoto.
