In a sudden turn of events, high school student Subaru Natsuki is transported to another world while on his way back from a convenience store. Despite being in a foreign realm and having no idea who summoned him, things take a darker turn when he's attacked. However, just as all hope seems lost, a mysterious silver-haired girl with a fairy cat saves him. Subaru then works alongside the girl to uncover clues about his predicament. But their efforts are cut short when they both fall victim to an attack and perish. Miraculously, Subaru wakes up in the same world he was originally summoned from, but with a newfound ability: "Returns by Death." This powerless boy must now navigate through this unfamiliar land while grappling with his own mortality. Can he find a way to save the girl and prevent her untimely demise?
