On December 28th, 2025, Suguha showed Kazuto an article about the discovery of Excalibur in ALfheim Online. This sword was considered extremely rare and powerful within ALO, but despite being found nearly a year earlier, they were unable to overcome the guardians protecting it until they temporarily forgot about it due to more pressing matters. Nevertheless, Kazuto learned that while the weapon had been discovered, it had not yet been acquired. So he gathered Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Klein and Sinon to form a party and attempt to clear the dungeon once again. However, upon arriving in Jötunheimr and mounting Tonkiis' back, they discovered that other players had found the location of the item through a quest involving the slaughter of beast-type Evil Gods.
