A young gentleman comes across a kappa while walking home from work one day. He decides on impulse to purchase the creature and names him Kaatan. Although this is his first time owning a kappa, he turns to a book for guidance on raising and training them. The book provides several helpful tips that seem simple enough to implement. However, despite initial successes with Kaatan, the young man soon realizes that putting these techniques into practice can be challenging. While Kaatan appears to comprehend some concepts, he often forgets what he's learned or loses interest in learning altogether. Despite this setback, the gentleman remains patient and continues his efforts to transform Kaatan into a well-behaved pet worthy of pride.
