Higurashi When They Cry: Cat Killing Arc, ひぐらしのなく頃に外伝 猫殺し編

The narrative of Nekogoroshi-hen is divided into two sections. In the first half, the club engages in typical activities such as poker games with humiliating consequences. During the second half, the members decide to venture to the abandoned Yagouchi Quarry on the outskirts of Hinamizawa. Mion relates how one of her childhood friends, known as Friend A, disappeared while playing hide-and-seek near the area. Although his father found him, they were discovered dead in their car after falling off a cliff while driving home from the "hole," which was believed to be contaminated with poisonous gases and lead to eternal damnation.
