Aono Hajime was an exceptional violinist until he became disillusioned with playing due to personal reasons. Currently in his third year of middle school, he struggles to determine his academic path. During school, he encounters Akine Ritsuko, a passionate novice violinist who aims to attend a high school with a renowned orchestra club. As Hajime becomes more involved with Ritsuko and the world of violinists, time seems to slow down for him. This marks the start of a heartwarming youth drama that combines music and emotions in perfect harmony.

Ao no Orchestra won the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shounen category in 2023, along with Yofukashi no Uta.
