The narrative revolves around a 15-year-old female protagonist who adores her best friend's older brother, who is a renowned idol. However, she encounters a menacing yakuza member and discovers that her mother was once an ex-magical girl, with the yakuza serving as her mascot. Her love interest gets kidnapped by demonic entities resembling burly males with adorable squirrel heads. To rescue him, she enlists the aid of the yakuza, who transform into a magical girl outfit. In doing so, she also discovers that her best friend harbors feelings for her and assumes a cross-dressing magical identity to save her life. Ultimately, their manager, a self-proclaimed magical girl enthusiast, decides to turn them into an idol unit.
