A woman's young son is kidnapped and the only clue left behind is a note that starts with "This is a quiz." The resulting mystery is fast-paced and stylish, leading investigator Kaoru Kiriko of the Special Investigation Team through a series of increasingly complex puzzles. Despite being street-smart, Kaoru finds herself becoming the target as she gets closer to solving the case.
