However, achieving this goal caused a stagnation in his cooking; without any further aspirations at the pinnacle of the culinary world, he found himself lacking motivation to enhance his skills. Shokugeki no Souma: Létoile explores Kojirous journey of self-discovery following the conclusion of an unofficial competition during his first year's training camp. In order to reignite his passion for the art of cooking, Kojirou must reassess his past techniques and ultimately embrace a new path that will allow him to determine what he truly wants to convey through his culinary creations.
