Vampire Princess Yui, Kyuuketsuhime Yui, 吸血姫夕維

Vampire yui is a descendant of both a male shinma and a woman with blood from the shi clan and a vampire, specifically vampire miyu. her unique shi heritage connects her deeply to a magical lake located in another realm. the guardian of this lake, yuki, is the sister of one of yui's distant ancestors and fell in love with a mortal man over a century ago, choosing to sleep eternally alongside him rather than fulfill her duty to control the magic of the lake. the remaining shi desire to harness the power of the lake but fear that yui, naturally drawn to it due to her heritage, may awaken yuki and resume her role as guardian.

Vampire Yui was published in English by Studio Ironcat in comic book format from July 2000 to January 2003, for a total of 30 issues. Only volume one was published in tankoubon format on September 18, 2001.
