10 years have passed since the conflict between Iga and Kouga ninja families ended. Despite the peace treaty that was signed, some people are still unhappy with how things turned out. Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga, the descendants of their respective clans, seem to be on track for a romantic relationship, but tensions between the two sides have resurfaced. Tadanaga Tokugawa, who represents the Kouga clan, is not satisfied with how the war ended. As political instability threatens to keep them apart, it seems that fate may once again conspire against these star-crossed lovers.
