The new narrative revolves around the main character, Shinji Ogishima, who first appeared in the previous chapters of the original story. Alongside his friend Nobu Setoguchi, they are part of the "GT Cars" project that is currently undergoing controversy and conflict. To resolve these issues, they must engage in a high-stakes race using Mazda RX-7s on the Shuto Expressway while also meeting with Tatsuya Shima.
