The first press release of the 1st and 2nd Blu-ray and DVD volumes of Onimonogatari anime comes with special booklets that include advertisement manuscripts from Yomiuri Shinbum as well as short kakioroshi, which are fictional stories. These booklets are available in five different versions: Volume 11 (Tsubasa Board), Mayoi Castle, Shinobu Science, Suruga Palace, and Volume 21 (Nadeko Mirror). Additionally, the booklets also feature short stories related to Tsukasa, Hitagi Salamander, Yotsugi Future, and Ougi Travel.
