The setting is in an alternate Japan where a diverse group of superhumans gather for a feast. This takes place 20 years after World War II and during what's known as the "Age of Gods." Imagine all the characters from your favorite superhero stories coming together at once, each unique and possessing their own special abilities. Some have emerged through extraterrestrial means, while others hail from mystical realms or were created by scientists. While some openly embrace their powers and are celebrated in society, others remain hidden and fight in secret.
The Japanese government has taken steps to maintain peace and order, including the establishment of an organization under the Ministry of Health and Welfare called the Overpopulation Research Laboratory, also known as the Superhuman Bureau. Their mission is to identify superhumans, monitor them, and ensure their safety. One member of this bureau, Jirou Hitoyoshi, serves as the protagonist in this series.
