In a world where vampires share genetic traits with humans, it can be challenging to distinguish between them. However, there's one significant difference: when a vampire, commonly referred to as devils, encounters human blood, they lose control entirely. Tsukasa Taira discovers that she is the target of Shouta Akimura's affections. To spare her from harm, he has been killing other humans to quench his thirst for blood. Despite this precarious situation, Shouta remains on edge, always at risk of losing control over his actions. To mitigate the danger, detective Yuuki Anzai intervenes and saves Tsukasa from becoming Shoutas next victim. As they travel together, Tsukasa is drawn to Anzai, who is also a vampire. Their relationship develops slowly as they navigate a complex web of murder and deceit.
