Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou

Agetarou works at his family's tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya but isn't thrilled about the job. One day, while making a delivery, he meets someone from a nightclub who lets him in for a short time to enjoy the club. Agetarou is captivated by the relaxed atmosphere and cute girls dancing to the music played by the DJ. He starts visiting the club regularly until one night when American DJ Big Master Fly performs. Agetarou is inspired by Big Master Fly's performance and realizes that being a DJ shares many similarities with his passion for cooking tonkatsu. Now, he is determined to master both disciplines, but he is most excited about becoming a DJ.

Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou was nominated for the ninth Manga Taisho Award in 2016 and placed 11th in the final ranking.
