The manga series "Shiawase na Jikan," which was later adapted into a movie, has two stories in its sequel. The first story is a continuation of the original plot, set two years after the events of the first book, with Shizuku preparing for her entrance exams. In contrast, the second story "Kikyou no Saku Koko" (The Blooming of the Balloon Flowers) is an independent narrative that does not follow the main characters from the original series. Tsuge Takayuki, a typical college student, discovers a girl admiring flowers in his front yard and recalls a past memory of a girl standing by the same spot, crying in the rain. This encounter sparks feelings of love within him, but he must navigate her injured heart to accept his affections.
