The Night Raid is a team of covert assassins who work tirelessly to eliminate corruption and evil from the Capital city. They are known for their ruthless tactics and unwavering dedication to justice. During one of their missions, Sheele and Tatsumi come across a young girl named Nea being attacked in the forest. Despite her blindness, they manage to save her and bring her back to Night Raids hideout. It turns out that Nea has been searching for her family in the Capital, which is plagued by greed and corruption. Sheele takes it upon herself to help Nea find her loved ones, but their journey will be fraught with danger. Meanwhile, Night Raid sets its sights on a new target: a group of assassins who indiscriminately kill civilians for fun. As they prepare to exact revenge on these criminals, Bulat faces an unexpected challenge in this routine mission.

Akame ga Kill! 1.5 was originally released as a special 100-page bonus volume bundled with the limited editions of the anime Blu-ray/DVD volume 1 set on October 15, 2014. It contained two side story chapters about Bulat and Sheele, and the opening pages contained a crossover with Isshuukan Friends. It was rereleased as a standalone tankobon on December 25, 2017, with two new chapters.It has been licensed in Spanish by Norma Editorial.
