Ichika is someone who tends to follow social norms and do what others want her to do even if it goes against her own desires. In contrast, Doc Uchida is carefree and does what he wants without any regard for others' opinions. After school, Ichika meets up with Doc to stargaze and listen to his talks about space. When her friends try to set her up with an older boy, Ichika feels conflicted about her feelings and shares her concerns with Doc. However, Doc ignores her and leaves her feeling confused and hurt. Now, Ichika must decide whether it is more important for her to maintain her appearances at school or to prioritize her long-standing friendship with Doc.
