Princess Saltorine "Sally" Aldike is tired of living in the kingdom of Aldarake and wants to go on an adventure. She meets a lonesome traveler named Mikoto Kibitsu who helps her try to escape from the palace. Although Mikoto warns her about the dangers, Sally becomes even more passionate about going on a journey with him. However, when they encounter a group of ferocious oni, Mikoto reveals himself as the demon slayer Momotaro and defeats them before leaving Sally behind. A month later, Sally gathers the courage to leave royalty and embark on her long-desired journey in search of Mikoto once more. Although she realizes that there are dangers beyond the kingdom's walls, Sally discovers new truths about herself and the world around her.

Peach Boy Riverside has been published digitally and physically in English by Kodansha Comics USA since November 10, 2020 and June 29, 2021, respectively.
