The beings referred to as Devolved are extraterrestrial creatures who attack our planet through distortions in space. Tragedy has always been present in Ryouma's life, and when his high school is attacked by these aliens, he sees it as just another chapter in a long line of suffering. However, amidst the monsters deadly gaze, a professor emerges with an offer of power.
