The manga follows Iori Shijima, a high school student who leads an average life. He has a close childhood friend, many dependable friends, a loving mother, and excellent grades. His future seems secure with a solid plan in place. However, everything changes when extraterrestrial beings known as Ātrail arrive on Earth, causing Iori's routine to unravel as he discovers the mysteries of another world and contemplates his own purpose.
