According to Sakuragi Ryou, there are three different levels within a high school hierarchy. The "A" rank includes the most attractive, intelligent and athletic students. The "B" ranks consist of average students, while the "C" ranks tend to be overlooked by others. Despite his initial reluctance, Ryou was placed in the "A" rank during middle school, leading him into a life he did not choose. Now entering high school, he aims to remain unnoticed and become part of the "B" ranks. However, on one evening after school, he encountered a group of delinquents harassing a girl who needed his help. The girl he saved turned out to be the prettiest in his high school, leading her to want to repay him for his kindness. As a result, Ryou must now take precautions to avoid drawing attention to himself and maintain his position within the "B" ranks.
