The Kurusu family passed away when Rai was young, leaving him with no recollections of their demise. One day, a girl named Sai arrived at his school to inform him that someone wanted to take his life. She asserted that she possessed supernatural abilities (involving the manipulation of memories) and claimed that the person pursuing him also had such powers. As it transpired, Rai too possessed formidable destructive capabilities; however, what was it from his past that he could not recall?
