Shoutaro is a man who keeps to himself and runs an antique bookstore called Mononobe Koshoten. He's got a young assistant named Shiro who helps him out while he spends his days reading. However, there's more to Shoutaro than meets the eye - he also has a secret job collecting old books that aren't exactly pleasant.
