The plot revolves around aliens known as "DearS" who have landed on Earth and are now part of society. They are highly respected and welcomed by most humans. To learn about human culture, they are placed in high schools for a home-stay experience. When Takeya assists a DearS at school, she addresses him as "Master." This sets the stage for the humorous adventures that ensue as Takeya and his alien companion, Ren, navigate the strange customs of Earth!
