The... Luck of the Competition? SEVEN, 勝負は時の…運だろ? SEVEN

The series "Shoubu wa Toki no... Un Daro?" is a collaboration between Takaguchi and another artist. "SEVEN" is a solo work that utilizes many characters from the same series but takes place slightly later. It follows the members of the basketball team at a sports-based high school, with the first chapter introducing a new character, Kiyoshi. Despite attending a sports-focused school, he cannot participate in sports due to a childhood accident. He struggles until Nana, a senior and captain of the team, takes him under his wing and assigns him as the manager of the club. Nana is also attracted to Kiyoshi, but most of his attention is directed towards Saegusa, the coach who built the basketball team from scratch and was once the manager. Saegusa suffered a chronic illness that prevented him from playing basketball after middle school, and he has been working towards being able to play again throughout his life. However, when he realizes it will never happen, he turns to drinking and becomes depressed. Nana tries to help him overcome his depression, and in the process, they may grow too close.
