A family of four - two researchers, their daughters Amitie and Kirie, and husband Granz - remain on the dying planet Eltria in an attempt to discover a way to revive it. However, when Granz becomes ill, their hope for resuscitation appears lost. Disregarding her sisters' opposition, Kirie embarks on a journey with her childhood friend Iris to seek aid from another world. They eventually land in Japan on Earth and commence searching for the regeneration key of their home planet. During this quest, they encounter Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate.
