After finishing middle school, Rentarou expresses his feelings for the girl he loves. Unfortunately, he is rejected again, making it his 100th rejection in a row. Feeling downhearted, he visits a shrine for matchmaking and prays for a girlfriend in high school. To his surprise, the shrine's god appears and promises that he will meet one hundred soulmates in high school.
