In April 1945, Okinawa Island in Japan was still relatively untouched by the ongoing war. Despite this, Tomiko, a young girl living there, remained cheerful and optimistic despite her mother's absence. However, when air raids began and her father had to leave for the front lines, her life took a drastic turn. Now she must face incredible challenges in order to survive.
