Asafuji Taisei was involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of both his parents and left him with severe injuries. Although he miraculously recovered, the thought of going through an extensive rehabilitation process made him feel hopeless about returning to baseball. However, one day while watching static on an old CRT TV that his parents had given him, Taisei remembered a promise he had made to take them to Koushien.
